Paintball For Beginners - Paintball Games
One of the most popular sports over the last few years is paintball. Its popularity amongst people of all ages has been growing rapidly. When the sport began over 20 years ago, it was a long ways from being considered popular. 12 men in New Hampshire started the game and it has grown steadily ever since. Nearly every city across the country now has a paintball course of some kind. While the basic idea of shooting other people with a paintball gun remains the same, there are several variations of paintball. While beginners are usually thrilled just to play paintball for the first time, more experienced paintballers like to branch out. Let's look at a few of the different kinds of paintball games you can play.
Beginners usually stick to some of the more common games. Some of these games include "Hostage Rescue" and "Manhunt". The names of these games pretty much speak for themselves. They are usually very fun for most people. However, once you get more involved, it's great to have some other games to play.
One game that can be extremely fun is assassins. During this game, you act as if you're an assassin. You are on a field full of players, but you can only shoot a certain one. You are assigned another player and another player is also assigned to shoot you. Therefore you have to be careful on your mission, because someone is trying to take you out as well.
Another great game is "bounty hunters". This is when there several players that are bounty hunters and one player is the fugitive. While this may seem unfair, the fugitive has some advantages to even the playing field. For instance, the fugitive can shoot the bounty hunters anywhere on the body to eliminate them. However, the bounty hunters have to shoot the fugitive in the leg or arms to capture him. There is also a time limit involved. Therefore, if the fugitive survives for the whole time limit, they win.
Besides game variations, one of the most popular types of paintball are scenario games. This means that the game is set up by organizers to fit the rules of a certain scenario. The games usually recreate famous battles or movies and involve a large number of players. One of the most famous scenario games is the Oklahoma D-Day game. This game boasts more than 4000 players and lasts for several days consecutively. Another popular scenario game is the "Invasion of Normandy" battle. This paintball scenario game takes Select Quote life insurance over 48 hours and has nearly 3000 players. It also has many staged events within the scenario. During a scenario, the coordinator gives each team missions that they can complete during the game. Each team is directed by a "General" that is usually a high profile person within the industry. This can be a lot of fun and gets pretty intense as well.
Overall, there are many different kinds of paintball available. Every game is a potential to have a great time. The important thing is to get out there and play!
